Career Copilot was born from a simple frustration: great candidates shouldn't be filtered out by robots. We're a small, bootstrapped team from India on a mission to democratize the job search with AI.
How It Started
In late 2025, we noticed something broken in the hiring pipeline. Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) were rejecting 75%+ resumes before a human ever saw them — not because the candidates were unqualified, but because their resumes weren't keyword-optimized for the specific job description.
Existing tools either gave vague advice ("add more keywords!") or charged expensive monthly subscriptions for basic features. We wanted to build something different: a pay-per-use, AI-powered platform that actually rewrites your resume to match each job — using only your real experience.
So we built Career Copilot from scratch — a full-stack application with real-time job page scraping, intelligent ATS scoring, AI-powered resume tailoring, a drag-and-drop resume builder with PDF export, and a credit-based wallet. No subscriptions, no lock-in, no fluff.
